Yesterday we also hung our South Lyon "People's Choice" Awards for Best Speciality Shop and Best Gift/Card Shop for 2008. Again, I cannot express enough my appreciation to the residents of South Lyon and the surrounding areas for their support of my store. It's so satisfying to know inside that I made the right decision for me personally; doing what I love to do, and for the community of South Lyon; giving residents a local place to shop when they need to pick up a small gift or home decor piece for their home. My objective is to always provide my customers with excellent customer service and the most unique products at reasonable prices.

Last Thursday and Friday we received two large shipments in from our Atlanta Shopping Spree in January. From large metal cannisters to clocks, ceramics and decorative boxes, we have all kinds of fabulous Tabletop accessories that will look beautiful in your home! I've been telling many of you that have visited/frequented Grande Trunke Home that Uttermost, a company that designs, develops and produces beautiful home decor items, including lamps, mirrors, tabletop accessories and wall decor will be introducing a line of small accent furniture. It was announced today in Home Accents Today - www.homeaccentstoday.com. The excerpt reads:
Uttermost will make its accent furniture debut in High Point this April, after nearly a year in development.
The 50-piece furniture introduction includes everything from stacking tables to tall chests to upholstered chairs. All furniture is either in stock or will be by late April.
“We could not be more excited about our new furniture,” said Mac Cooper, president. “We have some really cool items.”
Cooper credits Francois Degueurce and Matthew Williams with the creative vision. Both Degueurce and Williams have a long history of designing and developing upscale furniture.
